Big I Arkansas provides everything you need to train new employees and set them up for success in the insurance industry. Our New Hire Training Plan outlines a four-step approach to help turn new hires into knowledgeable, confident team members.
Investing in proper training from the beginning helps build stronger employees and supports long-term success for your agency. Big I Arkansas members also receive discounted pricing on education and training programs.
1. Pre-Licensing
As one of Arkansas’s top pre-licensing education providers, Big I Arkansas helps guide new hires through the licensing process and prepares them for the Arkansas License Exam.
Courses are available both in-person at the Big I Arkansas Farris-Williamson Center for Insurance Education and online through self-paced learning options to fit any schedule.
2. My Agency Campus
Through our partnership with New Level Partners, LLC, My Agency Campus provides an online training platform for both new hires and experienced staff.
This on-demand system offers courses in insurance fundamentals, business skills, and management, while allowing employers to track progress and measure understanding.
Key features include:
- Interactive, fully narrated courses
- End-of-course assessments
- Certificates of completion
- Student transcripts and progress tracking
- Access for up to 4 months per user
3. Live Webinars
Big I Arkansas members receive discounted access to a variety of live webinar training options, including:
- ABEN Basics & Beyond – Foundational training for new agents and those expanding their knowledge
- Big “I” Virtual University Webinars – CE-approved webinars covering insurance fundamentals and industry topics
- Ethics & E&O Webinars – These sessions help strengthen ethical practices and reduce E&O exposure while earning CE credit
Ethics and E&O webinars are held bi-monthly and offer convenient, instructor-led training from anywhere.
4. Earn a Designation
All CIC and CISR courses are available through Big I Arkansas, offered both in-person and virtually. These programs help new and experienced professionals deepen their knowledge and advance their careers.
- CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) focuses on building strong customer service and coverage knowledge for client-facing roles. Courses are offered monthly and cover a full range of personal and commercial lines topics.
- CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) is a nationally recognized designation demonstrating advanced expertise and a commitment to continuing education. Five CIC courses are offered annually.
